The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys basketball team received some accolades this week from the River Valley Conference.

The Hawks had two all-conference selections as voted on by league coaches. The highest honors on the team went to Mid-Prairie senior Nolan Faselt who was a second team all-conference selection. Faselt led the Golden Hawks in scoring at eight points per game. Faselt also led the team in assists and was eighth in the conference with his 63 helpers.

Mid-Prairie junior Caleb Statler was an honorable mention selection. Statler led the Golden Hawks and the entire River Valley Conference with his 39 blocked shots. Statler also led Mid-Prairie on the glass with his 114 rebounds, 10th best in the conference.

Mid-Prairie ended the season with a 1-21 overall record, falling to the Wilton Beavers in the first round of the playoffs.
