The Keota Eagle boys basketball team recently had four players recognized by the South Iowa Cedar League with all-conference accolades.
Keota senior Zach Mousel was a first team all-SICL selection. Mousel lead the Eagles in scoring at 12 points per game, sixth best in the South Iowa Cedar League East. Mousel was third in the conference with 92 assists and seventh with 41 steals.
Keota junior Jacob Wickenkamp was a second team all-SICL selection. Wickenkamp was sixth in the conference in scoring at 11 and a half points per game. Wickenkamp led the team and was second in the conference with 106 assists. His 41 steals were fourth best in the conference. Wickenkamp pulled in 132 rebounds, eighth best in conference play.
Senior Isaiah Hahn was an honorable mention all-conference selection. Hahn was 10th in the conference in scoring at 10 points per game. His 36 assists were 10th in the conference.
Junior Avery Conrad was also an honorable mention all-SICL selection. Conrad averaged 11 points per game, ninth best in the conference. His 200 rebounds led the Eagles and were third most in the league.
Keota ended the season with a 17-7 overall record. The Eagles were champions of the South Iowa Cedar League East Division. Keota ended their year in the district championship game, falling to Montezuma 56-45.
