The Keota City Council met in regular session Monday.  The council received an update on the storm water and sewer plant projects and learned the DNR is still reviewing the revision and plan submitted for the sewer plant project.

Melinda Eakins and Denny Lyle with the Keota Visioning Committee gave the council an update on the progress they have made on the trailhead. Eakins informed the council that there has been an interested donor willing to help pay for a new museum to hold the Keota artifacts and they would like to place it by the trailhead. The building would incorporate the restrooms and there would be picnic area in that location. More information was requested. The council also approved the FY 16-17 budget, among other items.
