One of the topics of discussion during the most recent Highland School Board meeting was bids for liquefied petroleum gas, gasohol, and diesel fuel. Superintendent Chris Armstrong said they were very pleased with the bids, as they’ll save $0.21 a gallon each on all gasohol and diesel fuel products. He said they go through thousands of gallons of gas every year, so the savings will be noticeable. The bids were awarded to Stewart and Sons in Ainsworth. Armstrong added it was great to see a local business helping out the local school.
