A project change order, paving Sitler Drive and request for a 5k and power lifting competition are on the agenda for tonight’s Washington City Council meeting. The change order is the third for the Industrial Park Rise Improvements and is for $14,050. The work was in regards to removal of pavement that was in the plans but not in the bid price, and according to a memo from Keith Henkel, it was a field decision made to improve the edge of the road and to keep the project from being delayed. The council will also consider a resolution to award a contract for the paving project for Sitler Drive and South Avenue H.
The 5k and power lifting competition called Pump N’ Run is an event proposed by the YMCA to be held September 17th. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in council chambers.
