Three Mid-Prairie baseball players were recognized by the River Valley Conference for their work on the diamond this summer.
Mid-Prairie senior Adam Schrock was a second team all-conference pitching selection. He finished 10th in the conference with a 3.16ERA. He worked 44 innings on the mound, allowing 51 hits, while striking out 48. At the plate he led Mid-Prairie with a .322 average and a team best 28 total hits.
Mid-Prairie outfielder Derek Rich was a second team all-conference selection. Rich, a junior, finished the year with a .274 average, his 24 hits were third best on the team. Rich was second on the team with 20 runs scored.
Keaton Duwa was an honorable mention all-conference performer. Duwa finished his sophomore year with a .307 average. His 24 runs scored and 23 RBI were best on the team. His 27 total hits were second best.
Mid-Prairie ended the season with a 13-19 overall record.
