Emergency crews responded to a wreck early Wednesday morning in rural Keota. At 5:53 a.m. a one vehicle car wreck with injuries was reported near the intersection of Dogwood Avenue and 190th Street, or G26. One person was transported by ambulance to the University of Iowa hospital. Gregory Barber of Keota was the driver of the car. Keota Fire Department, Keota First Responders, Washington County Ambulance and Washington County Sheriff’s personnel responded to the scene. The vehicle was towed away.
