The filing period to have your name placed on the November ballot for any county offices has officially closed. There will be two contested Washington County Board of Supervisors races. District 2 will see incumbent Bob Yoder challenged by Stuart Yoder and District 4 has Democrat Kimberly Davis running against incumbent Stan Stoops. Also, terms on the county hospital board, agricultural extension council, conservation commission and township trustees will be filled during this election.
Washington County Auditor Dan Widmer says people can register to vote now and early voting begins September 29th, either in person or with ballots being mailed to homes. The general election will be held November 8th, listen to KCII that evening for live results from the Washington County Courthouse.
