West Liberty tackled Vargas in the end zone midway through the second quarter for a safety to get within 6-2, that’s where the score would stand at the halftime break. In the second half, the Comets got things going through the air when Seth Feldman hooked up with Noah Feldman from 27 yards out, midway though the third to give the Comets their first lead of the night at 9-6. West Liberty added to that when Feldman found Feldman again from 30 yards out early in the fourth to make it 15-6.
