Alumni of Washington High School who make it back to town for the annual homecoming festivities will see a new look to the events. The coronation of homecoming king and queen will be held Thursday evening at Spirit Night. The pep rally will be held at the high school beginning at 7 p.m., and will be in the new auditorium. Activities Director Brent VanWeelden shares by moving it to the evening they hope to have more community members in attendance. He says it also adds another event for the students to take part in during homecoming week.

The annual parade from the high school to Central Park will take place at 2 p.m. that Friday, September 30th. The football game will kickoff at 7 p.m. at Case Field against the Keokuk Chiefs. Listen to KCII for live play-by-play coverage of the game.
