A sophomore on the WACO Warriors’ football team (1-3 overall) is among the top offensive athletes in 8-man football. Colton Horak has tallied 597 yards of total offense in the first four games of the season, 427 yards rushing and 170 yards receiving. He has scored eight touchdowns. Horak has the fourth highest total rushing and receiving yards in 8-man football. Iowa Valley senior Bennett Goettsch leads all of 8-man football with 739 yards of total offense and 13 touchdowns.

The Warriors have been victorious in one of their first four games of the season, averaging 42.5 points per game. Horak and the WACO Warriors are hosting the Springville Orioles (3-1 overall) in their annual homecoming game this Friday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Roth Field.
