The annual Southeast Iowa Super Conference Volleyball tournament will commence later this week across the region. The event features 18 league teams competing in pool play at four schools this Thursday. Match play begins at 5 p.m. Matches will be best two out of three to 21 points and if a third game is needed to decide the winner, it will be played to 15 points.

The WACO Warriors (7-5 overall) are among the host teams for pool play. The Warriors have been named the No. 3 seed in their group. The Wapello Arrows (11-2 overall) earned the No. 1 seed in the WACO pool and the Highland Huskies (12-4 overall) are the No. 2 team. The Van Buren Warriors (3-8 overall) and the Louisa-Muscatine Falcons (1-14 overall) round out the pairing as the fourth and fifth seeds, respectively.

The top two teams from each pool will play in the finals of the tournament Saturday at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington.
