Jingle bells will be heard around Washington Saturday morning during the annual Jingle Bell Run. The 5k route begins on the east side of the square in downtown Washington and goes through Sunset Park. Organizer Steve Roth explains it’s a chance to get some exercise over the holidays with your family. Costumes are encouraged and there will be prizes. There is also a one mile walk option. Each packet for participants includes jingle bells to take on the run. The funds raised will go to PAWS and More, the Washington High School band trip to Disney World, and holiday lights in downtown Washington.
