Familiar faces are back on the lanes this winter for the Washington Demon boys’ bowling team. Three all-conference bowlers return for the Demons and a total of five are back from last year’s 5-5 campaign.

Colin Zear, a first team all-Southeast conference bowler, dropped 3,275 pins last winter. His median score was 182 and he posted a game high of 223. Bailey Curtis and Kylan Gillette are back after earning second team all-conference honors last season. Curtis had the best showing at last year’s state qualifying meet, placing second overall with a two-game score of 390. Gillette knocked down 2,909 pins last season.

Tucker Renoux and Kolton Segebart were also part of last year’s team. Renoux tallied 3,020 pins while Segebart sunk 2,838 pins. Jon Graf and Maclain Leyden are back with the team after deciding not to go out last season. Graf dropped 2,021 pins as a sophomore during the 2014 season, while Leyden knocked down 1,948 as a freshman.

The Washington bowling team opens their season on December 7, hosting the Sigourney Savages at Lebowski’s Rock ‘N’ Bowl.
