The winningest grappler in the history of Washington wrestling has cracked the starting lineup for the No. 13 Coe College Kohawks (1-1). Fletcher Green, a four-time state qualifier, won 154 matches for the Demons prior to graduating in May 2014. He’s wrestled in 37 collegiate matches, including 12 so far during his junior season.

The Kohawks have alternated Green between 125 and 133 pounds. He’s posted a 7-5 record with two pins, two technical falls, and a major decision. Green finished fifth in last weekend’s Luther Hill Invite hosted by Simpson College. He went 2-2 on the day, including a win by fall in 2:34 against William Penn’s Dakota Wilson.

Green and Kohawks return to action tomorrow as they travel to the Desert Duals in Las Vegas, Nevada. Coe will have four duals on the day against Manchester University, Wisconsin-Oshkosh, California Baptist University, and Concordia College-Moorhead. First duals are set for 10 a.m.
