On this edition of the Washington Page, KCII News talks about child safety seats in cars during the winter months with Katrina Altenhofen, new executive director of Hospice of Washington County, but she recently served 20 years as the state’s emergency medical director for children at the Iowa Department of Public Health. She started the state’s child passenger safety seat certification program in 1997.
