The Iowa Mennonite School boys basketball entered Christmas break last week with a 5-3 record, winners of three in a row.

In their last game they topped Louisa-Muscatine 58-45. Today, IMS will match up with Benton Community.

On the season IMS is fourth in the Southeast Iowa Superconference in scoring at 55 points per game. They are second in the conference, shooting 46% from the floor. They are fifth in the Superconference in scoring defense allowing 43 points per game.

Individually, IMS is led by Cole Yoder at 11 points per game, ninth in the league. Yoder is the teams leading rebound and 10th in the conference with 38. Nick Yutzy leads the team and the conference with 38 assists. Yutzy also leads the conference with 25 steals.

Benton Community comes into today with an overall record of 4-4. In their last game they beat Williamsburg 65-47. Tyler Eggert leads the Bobcats and is third in the WAMAC West at 19 points per game. Spencer Touro leads the conference with 34 assists. Luke Wiebel is the leading rebounder for the Bobcats with 37 on the season.
