As heard live on KCII FM 106.1 and KCIIRadio.com, the Demons welcomed the Muscatine Muskies (6-8) to Washington High School for a non-conference tilt. Washington was outscored 14-2 in the game’s first eight minutes and dropped the contest, 55-34.
Washington recorded 13 points by halftime, and added 21 in the second half. The Demons converted 14 of 18 free throw attempts. Isabel Bailey led Washington with 12 points, making seven of her 10 free throw shots. Brooke Stout added seven points, going three for four at the line. Abby Rusch poured in a game-high 19 points to lead Muscatine to victory.
