Drought conditions in Iowa have lessened slightly from last week to this week. According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, 11.8% of Iowa is abnormally dry. The dry area is in southeastern and south central Iowa, including Washington, Keokuk, Jefferson, Henry and Louisa counties. Missouri is experiencing drought conditions in nearly all of the state with 89% abnormally dry and 8.5% in moderate drought.
