The Washington Demon boys and girls track teams were in Burlington Monday night for the 31st annual Ralph White Relays.
The Washington girls had two championships on the night with Demeri Bell winning the 100 hurdles in 18.22 seconds and taking the 200m dash in 31.31 seconds. Other top finishes for the Demon girls included Molly Sparks second in the 3000, Bell second in the 100, the distance medley team of Kinsey Duwa, Gracie Greiner, Sparks and Addison Six as runners-up, Duwa third in the 100 hurdles, Sparks third in the 800, and Six third in the high jump.
Top finishes for the Washington boys included the Demon sprint medley team of Lincoln Kleese, Cade Pouren, Levi Baumert and Chris Tapia taking third, the shuttle hurdle relay team of Justin Simmering, Ben Schiefer, Jarrett Bender and Brandon Dickel third, Baumert third in the 100m dash, the distance medley team of Dickel, Kleese, Tapia and Michael Kimball third, the 4×200 team of Pouren, Bender, Dickel and Baumert placing third, the 4×100 team of Dickel, Pouren, Bender and Baumert third, and Kleese third in the long jump.
