The Sigourney girls track team traveled to Prairie City Monroe Monday for the PCM Classic. The Savages were sixth out of seven schools with 103 points.
BGM won the title with 137 points. The Savages crowned five champions on the night. Autum Barthelman won the 100m with a time of 12.71 seconds. Summer Barthelman took the long jump title, clearing 15’1”. The Sigourney 4×100 team of Autum and Summer Barthelman, Leah Carter and Brooke Waechter, the 4×200 team of Autum and Summer Barthelman, Sloane Magill and Waechter and the shuttle hurdle relay team of Autum and Summer Barthelman, Carter and Magill all won titles.
Other top finishes for the Savages included Magill second in the shot put and third in the 100 hurdles and Paige Thompson second in the 3000.
