The Washington Demon boys soccer team hosts the rival Mount Pleasant Panthers tonight at the Washington Soccer Complex.
The Demons enter play with a 5-5 overall record. In their last match they rolled through Fort Madison 6-0. On the season Washington is led by Caleb Suchan with 10 goals, third most in the Southeast Conference. Suchan and John Dillon hold the team lead for the Demons with three assists. Thomas Zimmer is best in the conference and eighth in the state with 94 saves in goal.
Mount Pleasant is 6-3 on the season, winners of five in a row. On the year the Panthers are led by Ryan Hutchinson with nine goals, fourth most in the Southeast Conference. His five assists are best on the team and second in the conference. Nathan Rauenbuehler has 54 saves in goal for the Panthers.
