Former Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk softball standout Mallory McArtor has finished her softball career at Coe College.

The Kohawks concluded their season in the NCAA Division III softball tournament. This season McArtor was a second team All-Iowa Conference selection and finished ranked in the top ten in five different conference categories including first in stolen bases, sixth in triples, seventh in plate appearances, eighth in hit by pitches and 10th in home runs.

In her time at Coe she started 162 of the 163 games she appeared in. She was a multiple time All-Region and All-Conference performer. McArtor also left her mark in the program record books, finishing second all-time with 32 stolen bases, sixth in career walks with 49, and 12th with 466 career at bats.

McArtor is traveling abroad with collegiate players from the United States for exhibition games in Italy during June. McArtor also will play in the Iowa Women’s Softball League in Cedar Rapids this summer. She is a member of the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk softball coaching staff. She will attend the University of Northern Iowa this fall to pursue a Master’s Degree in Psychology.
