The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk softball team takes on the No. 4 ranked Durant Wildcats Tuesday night on the road in a River Valley Conference South doubleheader.

The Golden Hawks are coming off of a 7-5 win over Bellevue Monday night to run their overall record to 7-13 on the year. On the season, Mid-Prairie is led by Kathryn Conway who is mixing power with average, hitting .500 for the year and slugging .900 with three home runs. In the circle Cassidy Rourke has thrown 94 innings with a 5-8 overall record and 5.57 ERA.

Durant enters play with an overall record of 16-5. The Wildcats are ranked No. 4 in class 2A, in the latest poll from the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. In their last contest they beat Davenport North 8-2. On the season Durant is led by Ruby Kappeler and her .368 average. In the circle, Kamryn Meyer has a 10-2 record, over 84 innings pitched she has an ERA at 1.00.

These two teams met in a doubleheader in Kalona a season ago with the Wildcats sweeping the contests 11-1 and 6-4.
