The Lone Tree baseball team took it to Holy Trinity Catholic on Monday as they scored in six different innings to cruise to the 11-0 win.
After scoring five runs in the first five innings, the Lions added a pair of three run innings to run away with the victory. Jovonte Squiers continues to be hot from the plate going 4-for-5 with three RBI and three runs scored. Avery Knock added three RBI on 3-for-4 hitting. Ross Swinton was efficient on the bump going seven shutout innings with giving up only three hits.
The Lions got back on the bump last night in an area showdown with a win over Columbus Community 10-3. With the wins Lone Tree improves to 11-7 on the year and get right back to work tonight when they host Lisbon (17-3).
