A Fairfield High School graduate is a recipient of a scholarship from Access Energy Cooperative.

Michael Fritz of Brighton, son of Sarah Jacobs, is one of six recipients of a $1500 scholarship. Fritz plans to attend Iowa State University to major in Architecture. The parents or guardians of the scholarship applicants must be members of Access Energy Cooperative. Winners are chosen based off their academics, achievements, community involvement, and a submitted essay. This year the Access Energy Cooperative Board of Directors increased the scholarship awards from three $500 scholarships to awarding six $1500 scholarships.
