Projects are getting packed up and livestock are being loaded on to trailers as Washington County 4-H and FFA members take projects to the 2017 Washington County Fair.
Washington County 4-H and Youth Coordinator Amy Green shares there are hundreds of area youth involved, “This year we have 397 4-H members, which is 4-12th grade. And then we have 116 Clover Kid members who are kindergarten-third grade, and they are able to have special activities for them at the fair, as well.” There are also open exhibits for the public to enter projects in from quilting to gardening. Those items can be dropped off at the fair Sunday or Monday morning. The KCII Big Red Radio will be there each day of the fair, listen for our live broadcasts.
