From midnight to 6 a.m. Washington received nearly two-tenths of an inch of precipitation Monday. Cloud to ground lightning could be seen in the early hours today. According to the National Weather Service, there is a slight risk for severe weather, meaning scattered severe storms are possible throughout the today.
