The Highland School Board approved a 28-E agreement with the Lone Tree School District for vocational education classes.
At their recent meeting, the Highland board approved an agreement that includes classes available for Lone Tree students to take at Highland and classes available for Highland students at Lone Tree. Lone Tree is offering courses of vocational agriculture education, business education, and family and consumer sciences. Highland is offering courses of construction trades and manufacturing, computer systems networking and telecommunications, agricultural mechanics, and culinary arts. The Highland and Lone Tree school boards had a joint work session at Lone Tree Monday night to discuss current sharing projects, and other potential sharing opportunities.
