Numerous Washington Police and Washington County Sheriff’s officers responded to a rural field looking for the driver of a truck after a vehicle pursuit Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 1:35 p.m. dispatch received a call for a domestic incident in Washington and the male subject left in a red truck. Police were advised he was armed with a shotgun. Police located the vehicle and a pursuit ensued, ending on 230th Street, northwest of Ainsworth. Law enforcement were unable to locate the subject and the truck was towed from the scene. Names of those involved have not been released.
