The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk volleyball team suffered a River Valley Conference setback Thursday, falling to the Bellevue Comets on the road in three sets.

Bellevue took the match by scores of 25-15, 25-9 and 25-13. Makensie rich led the Mid-Prairie offense with four kills. Caitlyn Riggan added eight assists and Alison Yoder paced the Mid-Prairie defense with 15 digs. With the loss the Golden Hawks are now 3-6 overall, and 0-5 in the River Valley Conference. They will next be in action Thursday when they host top 10 West Liberty.
