The Sigourney volleyball team had four players named to the South Iowa Cedar League All Conference teams.
Leah Carter headlined the selections for the Savages being named to the first team as a setter. The four-year starter put together an impressive senior campaign collecting the third-most assists in the conference with 490. She also posted the third-most kills on the team with 132.
Brooke Waechter was named to the second team. The senior was a boost offensively for the Savages managing 204 kills. She was second on the team in digs with 210 and held her own at the net with 30 blocks.
The Savages also have Sydney Striegel and Sloane Magill recognized as honorable mentions. In her senior season, Striegel led the team in digs with 231. She also had the best serve efficiency on the team being successful on 92% of her serves. Magill tallied the second most kills for Sigourney with 177 and the second most aces with 25.
Sigourney finished the year sixth in the SICL with a conference record of 6-6 and 11-17 overall.
