The Iowa Mennonite School volleyball team finished 2017 with a 15-14 overall record.

IMS was 7-1 in the Southeast Iowa Superconference, sharing the north division championship with Mediapolis. Iowa Mennonite started the season 6-0 and rose as high as No. 10 in class 1A in rankings from the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. The IMS offense finished in the middle of the pack in the Superconference with 585 kills on the season, 155 aces, and 445 assists. The IMS defense led the Superconference with 17 digs per set and was second in the league with 1,342 total digs.

Individually, IMS was led offensively by Suzanna Yoder with 146 kills, 10th most in the Superconference. Yoder also led the team and was third in the Superconference with 350 digs. Sami Miller had the team lead and was sixth in the Superconference with 256 assists. Avery Blauvelt led IMS at the service line with 38 aces, 10th most in the conference.

Six Iowa Mennonite players earned All-Conference honors including Yoder on first team, Miller, Raine Hathaway and Alyssa Hershberger on second team and Blauvelt and Rubye Ney as honorable mention.

IMS loses seniors Hathaway, Joya Schrock, Blauvelt, Hershberger, and Monet Slabach to graduation.
