The former Modine Manufacturing building is no longer empty, as a local business has moved in for production.
Brava Roof Tile has expanded in Washington to the location at North 12th Avenue and East 7th Street, and is looking to expand its workforce. The company makes a composite roof tile which is durable and made of recycled material. The material weighs about a third of slate, and is durable through wind, hail, and ultraviolet rays. Their product can be seen on the roof of the Washington County Courthouse. Another customer of the company is Disney World.
