Washington star athlete Jaivonn Willis is headed north to continue his football career next year, recently committing to play at Southwest Minnesota State University.
The senior has been a human highlight reel throughout his Demon career as a matchup nightmare for defenders. The 6’3’’ receiver hauled in 40 receptions for 837 yards this fall ranking second in class 3A for both categories. His 13 receiving touchdowns led the state. In four years, Willis has compiled an impressive 128 receptions for 2,156 yards and 35 touchdowns. Southwest Minnesota State is a Division II program located in Marshall, Minnesota.
This past season the Mustangs went 2-9 out of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
