The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk wrestling team is back to the mat tonight when they travel to North Cedar for a River Valley Conference triangular with Camanche and North Cedar.
The Golden Hawks enter tonight with a 9-8 dual record. The Hawks were sixth of 14 schools with 99.5 points at the WACO Warrior Invitational Saturday. Isaac Boucher had the top finish for the Mid-Prairie, finishing as runner-up at 220lbs.
The Camanche Indians enter tonight with a 13-6 overall record. Last time out the Indians beat Monticello and Northeast Goose Lake but fell to West Liberty in a River Valley Conference quadrangular Thursday. According to thepredicament.com, there are two ranked wrestlers in the Camanche lineup with Baylor Crigger No. 6 at 152lbs and Kolby Snodgrass No. 9 at 220lbs. The Indians beat Mid-Prairie 62-17 last year.
North Cedar enters tonight with a 3-11 overall record. They were last in action January 4th in a River Valley Conference quadrangular where they fell to Bellevue but beat Durant and Northeast Goose Lake. Mid-Prairie beat North Cedar last year 42-27.
