A new business in Riverside will receive tax incentives that were approved by the city council at their recent meeting.
Terry Stumpf explained he is purchasing the property at 70 West First Street, originally known as the Icehouse Bar & Grill, with the sale to close in February. Stumpf says the 10-year-old building is in good condition but needs cleaning and some upgrades. Stumpf expects to create 10-15 jobs with his new restaurant. The council approved to give Stumpf a property tax abatement for seven years of up to $80,000.
