The Washington high school archery team was back in action over the weekend at Cardinal for a bullseyes and 3D competition.
The Demons placed second out of seven teams in the bullseye event with 3285 points. Anna Miller led the way for the Demons with a score of 283 and 15 bullseyes to rank second out of 84 high school girls. Other top finishes include Samantha Mellinger with 281, Griffin Wood with 280, Cooper Reed with 276, Johnathan Bartholomew with 274, and Kylee Porter had a 273.
Washington also participated in the 3D competition where they placed third out of six teams with a total score of 1623. Mellinger posted the best score out of 40 high school girls with 281. Other scoring included Wood with 268, Hannah Frame with 267, Dalton Applegate with 264, and Samantha Frana with 263.
Washington will get back at it Saturday traveling to Prairie.
