The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys basketball team had Tom Butters as a force in the middle this season.

The Golden Hawk junior ended the campaign with 159 rebounds, fourth most in the River Valley Conference South Division. He also posted a team high five double doubles this year, ending the season averaging eight points and eight rebounds per contest. His best single game performance was a 16 point 14 rebound effort in a win over West Liberty in February. Mid-Prairie ended the season with a 5-17 overall record.
