The Iowa State men’s basketball team opens the Big 12 tournament Wednesday as the No. 10 seed when they face No. 7 seed Texas

The Cyclone women were eliminated from the Big 12 tournament Saturday as the seven seed with an 81-69 loss to No. 2 seed Texas.

The Northern Iowa men’s basketball team was eliminated from the Missouri Valley Tournament as the nine seed falling to top seed Loyola Friday 54-50.

The third seeded UNI women open the Valley tournament Friday taking on the six seed Illinois State.

The fourth seeded Drake men’s basketball team fell in a tight contest to fifth seeded Bradley 63-61 in the Valley tournament.

The top seed Drake women will open the Valley tournament Friday.
