Columbus High School student athletes were recently honored for their athletic and academic work from the winter sports season in the All-Superconference Academic list submitted this week.

Earning the honor for the Wildcats were Kayla Beenen, Chance Colby, Angelique Byas, Mason Hodges, Jenessa Carpenter, Abel Mena, Daniela Cruz, Tommy Pretz, Michelle Diaz, Evan Reese, Aubrey Duncan, Bryan Solis, Anna Hamilton, Grant Robinson, Taylor Howell, Jobie Lekwa, Nayeli Martinez, Maki Mendenhall, Emma Milder, Ingrid Montero, Antonia Robinson, Julie Sosa, Odalyz Valdez, Courtney Zaehringer, and Alejandro Rivas. To be named academic All-Conference a student athlete must participate in a winter activity such as wrestling, basketball or cheerleading while maintaining a 3.50 GPA.
