On Tuesday the Demon Girls track team traveled to Fort Madison high school for the Pen City Relays.

The Demons had runner-up finishes in the sprint medley with the team of Leah Marek, Isabel Bailey, Jenah Greiner, and Hannah Anderson, the 4×200 team of Marek, Ashley Telleen, Greiner, and Anderson. In the 400 hurdles Telleen was second, and the 4X400 team Marek, Brynn Beenblossom, Sofia Kleese, and Telleen was also a runner-up.

Washington finished in third place in the 4X100 with the team of Marek, Bailey, Greiner and Anderson. Anderson was fourth in the 100. Bailey was fifth in the long jump.

The Demon girls next meet is Monday April 16 as they travel to Fairfield High School for the Ottumwa relays.
