The Washington Demon football program has named James Harris as the new head coach.

Harris has served as an assistant coach for the last 6 years with the last two as the defensive coordinator for the Demons, helping Washington to a 48-18 record in that time. His defense surrendered just under 15 points per game in his tenure.

The Demons have made the playoffs five out of the last six years.
