In a matchup of KCII area teams the Columbus Wildcats scored a 3-2 boys soccer win over the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks in Wellman Friday night.
It was Columbus that got on the board first in the games opening minutes but Mid-Prairie countered with back-to-back goals from Camden Marner to take a 2-1 lead into the half. After some adjustments during intermission, the Wildcats started to open things up offensively for forward Felix Solis. Solis netted the equalizer in the first 10 minutes of the second half and the game winner with 15 minutes left.
With the win, Columbus is now 4-3 on the year as Mid-Prairie falls to 2-2.
