The Winfield-Mt. Union boys and girls golf teams protected their home course Thursday, sweeping away Iowa Mennonite in a boy/girl Southeast Iowa Superconference dual.
The Wolves won the boys contest 169-239. Kaleb Hagge was meet medalist with his one under par round of 35. Other scores for the Wolves included medalist runner-up Nolan Ross with a 42, Jarod Kadel at 43, Graham Hagge with a 49, Noah Freeman at 50 and Kash Rossiter with a 51.
London Schrock led IMS with a 53. Other scores for Iowa Mennonite included Trevor Leyden at 56, Bronze Slabach with a 63 and Cole Roth with a 67.
The WMU girls won their half of the meet 212-279. Meet medalist was Lexee Hartsock with a 48. Other scores for the Wolves included Lauren Hagge at 50, Lauren Jamison with a 52, Abbie Cooley at 62, Makenna Mullin with a 66 and Sabrina Moody at 68.
IMS was led by Gretta Rempel with a 60, Lara Kliewer shot 67, Kennedy Roth 73 and Hannah Peters at 79.
