Three area girls golf teams saw their seasons come to an end Monday in the first round of the class 1A tournament at the Marengo Golf Course.

Iowa Valley won the meet with a 367 team score, led by meet medalist Caleigh Smith with an 87. Highland posted the top team score, taking sixth place with a 507. Top score for the Huskies was Charlie Aicher with a 119. Other scores for Highland included Emily Streb 123, Kayla Cerny 125, Shantall Avendano at 140 and Sarah Schultz with a 152.

Iowa Mennonite was seventh of eight schools with a 529. Top score for IMS was Gretta Rempel with a 117. Other scores for IMS included Lara Kliewer at 129, Kennedy Roth at 131 and Hannah Peters 152.

Lone Tree was eighth of eight teams with an overall score of 533. Abby Buckman led the Lady Lions with a 116. Other scores for Lone Tree included Karli Burr 125, Bailey Pierson 137 and Heather Geiger 155.
