The night skies will be shining bright in southeast Iowa this Wednesday as communities celebrate our Independence Day.
Washington is honoring the holiday with a fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds, the KCII Big Red Radio will be playing patriotic music for the display. Wellman is hosting a fireworks display at dusk at North Park. The Wayland Volunteer Firefighters will have a display at dusk at the WACO football field, and in case of rain fireworks will be displayed on Thursday. Fairfield’s fireworks display is at dusk at Waterworks Park, Mount Pleasant’s display begins at dark at McMillan Park, and Sigourney will host fireworks after dark at the Keokuk County Expo grounds. Richland is hosting a fireworks display on Tuesday at dusk at the Richland Ball Park.
