Residents of Ward 1 of Washington have a special election to take part in next week.

The residents of the northwest quadrant of town will be electing their new representative to the city council. The seat was vacated in April by Kerry Janecek. The three candidates are Mark Kendall, Danielle Pettit-Majewski, and Dave Mueller. Listen to interviews with each candidate at KCIIRadio.com. You can vote early in person at the Washington County Auditor’s Office until 11 a.m. Tuesday and polls will be open from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
