The United States drought monitor released it’s latest report this week showing there are still areas in southeast Iowa dealing with dryer than normal conditions.

Extreme southeastern Washington county, most of Louisa county, the northern half of Jefferson and Henry county and the southwestern half of Keokuk county are all experiencing abnormally dry conditions. The southwestern corner of Keokuk county and the southern halves of Henry and Jefferson county are all in moderate drought at this time. There are chances of rain for the KCII listening area through Monday with temperatures in the lower 80s. Stay tuned to KCII for weather updates.
