The Lone Tree Lions got in the win column for the first time in 2018 on Friday when they traveled to Montezuma, scoring a 36-25 win over the Braves.

Bryce Houser had a big night for the Lions, carrying the ball 27 times for 189 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also had an interception on defense. Harmon Miller finished with a pair of touchdown runs from his quarterback spot. Miller was also six of 12 through the air for 72 yards and a score, hooking up with Avery Knock on a 28 yard strike. With the win, the Lions are now 1-1 on the year, they host Iowa Valley on Friday.
